There will be 2 divisions for the 2008 KayakSlam Series: Southwest Florida and West Central Florida. Each division will consist of 3 individual tournaments.

Anglers may fish either or both divisions, anyone registered to fish an entire division has preference over an angler wanting to fish a single event. All events are limited to a maximum of 100 anglers.

Tournaments will be a catch, photo and release format. All anglers must provide their own digital camera with removable storage device or USB cord. Anglers will be fishing for one trout, redfish, and snook. The longest fish of each species will be added together in order to calculate the total inches entered. Anglers catching a slam will have a preference over anglers only catching individual species, and not a slam.

Each tournament will pay out ten places plus longest snook, trout, and redfish. Bonus awards will also be given to top youth, woman, and senior angler. Points will be awarded based on order of finish, and bonus prizes.

The top forty anglers from each division will be invited to fish the championship. This is a two day event with entire field fishing day one. The top forty anglers from day one return for day two to fish head to head to determine the KayakSlam Series Champion.
